Partnership & Advancement

Two or more tiers of partner? Yes
Partnership track (years)? 6
Additional partnership / advancement information The Firm’s Talent Framework provides our professionals with multiple career paths, including counsel and partnership roles. The Firm has adopted a two-tier partnership structure comprised of equity and income partners. Generally, lawyers will be eligible to be invited to apply for consideration for admission as income partners after six full years of active practice, and as equity partners after two full years of active practice as an income partner. While these are the minimum timelines, in practice it often takes longer than six and eight years respectively to meet the rigorous admission criteria and receive an invitation to apply to either level of partnership. For associates who join us with six or more full years of active practice at another firm, there is a minimum two year period before they are eligible to be invited to apply for partnership. We reserve the right, without notice, to change our current practices. Partnership admission, either income or equity, is within the unfettered decision of the partners at the time admission to partnership is considered.
